Sitelines

August 10; September 30, 2013

Sitelines was a series of short, site-specific, free and public performances devised and developed as an ensemble based on suggestions solicited from the public. Each Sightlines performance ran for roughly 15-30 minutes, with two-week incubation/rehearsal periods for each. The core ensemble for each piece was the Generic Ensemble Company, alongside guest performers. The August 10 (Sitelines I) action was created in partnership with Love & Monsters Puppet Co. and was performed along the public access sidewalk along the triangle that encompasses Barton Springs Blvd, South 1st Street and Riverside Drive.

The September 30 (Sitelines II) action was created in partnership with the GenEnCo Extended Ensemble, and was performed on the “Bat Bridge” where South Congress crosses Ladybird Lake.
